0.1.0: early access
The first version for early testers. The essentials are in place and work well, but expect rough edges, and please tell us what you find.
- Writing in rich text, saved as ordinary files in a folder you choose, with versions saved automatically.
- Show changes and Suggest mode, with green for added words, red for removed, and who made each change in the margin.
- Versions and drafts, compared inline or side by side.
- The assistant, using your own Anthropic API key, with every suggestion reviewed change by change.
- Comments, in the side panel or the margin.
- Copy-editing checks, house style and spelling.
- Read aloud, with the Mac’s voices or a natural voice that runs on your Mac.
- Word import and export with tracked changes and comments, and PDF export.
Known limits: this version isn’t yet registered with Apple, so the first launch takes a few extra steps, and updates are downloaded from the browser rather than installed for you.
